Thanks to a Perfect weekend S.L. Bei shines at ZZIC
Thanks to a perfect weekend under the rain, S.L. Bei brought Grid Motorsport victories in Formula Renault by winning both races at Zhuzhou International Circuit in the Formula Renault Super Challenge.
Among the Formula Renault drivers, Jacky Wong (H-Star Racing) scored two second-place finishes while his teammate William Kwok claimed two third-place finishes.
Race 1:
After setting the pace in free practice, S.L. Bei (Grid Motorsport) kept the momentum going in qualifying to take the pole with a best time of 1:41.209 ahead of H-Star Racing drivers Jacky Wong, Hugo Hung, William Kwok and Nicholas Lai.
S.L. Bei went on for a comfortable win, handing Grid Motorsport its leading position in Formula Renault. Jacky Wong and William Kwok brought H-Star Racing a double podium result in holding off their teammate Hugo Hung just until the chequers were waved. Kenneth Ma (FRD Racing) came home fifth, ahead of Fu Bin (吉人自有天相车队), Yat Chau Lin (FRD Racing) and Nicholas Lai (H-Star Racing).

Race 2:
S.L. Bei took his second pole position when he won the first race.
Starting seventh on the grid, Yat Chau Lin got the best jump off the line and moved up, while the gap between Yat Chau Lin and William Kwok remained under one second, the fight for third place was hot. William Kwok was able to keep his place for the podium. Kenneth Ma picked up another fifth-place result ahead of Fu Bin, Hugo Hung and Nicholas Lai.









In the general classification, S.L. Bei is twelve-point leading from Jacky Wong. William Kwok is third. The action will continue at Zhuzhou on 18-19 June.
